I think the finger will be pointed to everyone, but Rivers will probably get the most heat from the fans and media.
Two of the big three have been no-shows.
He can generate momentum though. The Celtics have one of the best line-ups on paper, but must perform to their expectations in order to succeed.
he can generate momentum sure, but what about during the game? the players need to step up and give each other that momentum. and seriously, if a team needs a coach to give them something to win on the road and not get embarrassed, that team may be in a bit of trouble.
while doc will get blamed, i still think the players need to be held responsible as well. some of those turnovers aren't the play the coaches write up. what about pierce who gets all upset and gets stupid fouls? and some of them giving up and not playing D? how is that Doc's fault? they seem too OK to lose away from home which is just pathetic for the whole team.
Yes, of course.
He can't play for them.
Pierce needs to contain his temper.
The Celtics won Game Seven, defeating the Cavaliers in a spectacular game. The final score is 97-92.
Damn, LeBron dominated most of the last few minutes of the game, but made some big mistakes down the stretch
whew, spurs take game 7 over NOs. and no rest for the weary as the spurs go directly to LA for game 1 of the western conf finals which start up on wednesday.
It was a close game until New Orleans fell apart in the second-half.
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CELTICS
Multiple league sources said the Nets and Nuggets have discussed a blockbuster deal that would bring Anthony and Marcus Camby to New Jersey. In return, Denver would get a package that includes Richard Jefferson, Marcus Williams, Keith Van Horn's contract and the Nets' lottery pick. There likely is more involved to make the salaries match up, but the sources said the trade could happen, making Tuesday's draft lottery even more important. http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/50950
I really do hope we go after Camby this offseason projecting we don't get Love in the draft
Game 1 tonight Boston vs Detroit
I have to go with Boston because its in Boston.I also take Boston because the Pistons have had time to "rust up" a little..The Celtics may be a little tired but have been playing in game situations while Detroit has been waiting for the winner.
Love isnt going to be anything special so if i was New Jersey, id prefer the trade and forget trying to get Love.....
Was talking about the Warriors. At one stage Love was projected to fall to us at 14 but he's lost some weight and looks like he might go at number 6. And I disagree about Love. For me he's the most fundamentally sound big man in the Draft and a versatile scorer. He has a very smooth game has soft hands, a massive, strong frame, good touch around the basket and decent footwork. On his jumper, he has range all the way out to the three point line. His rebounding is above average. He establishes position very well. I honestly thought he'd fall in the 13-18th value range but it appears he's wooed enough Scouts and GM's to be in the 5th to 10th range where he'll be gone at that time and knowing Mullin and his mediocre drafting history we'll draft another project
