Well would you not concider Ray Allen a good enough defender to at leadst slow Kobe down until the help gets there?I will agree with you abut the Odom/Gasol factor..2 years ago Kobe wouldnt be dishing it off to anyone after a drive.He'd force bad shots and thats why the Lakers were knocked out in the first round each year.
Allen needs to avg. 20 points a game for the Celtics to win.They arent goingt o hold a team like the Lakers under 80pts.Pierce has been playing great and thats what worries be a little.Allen was cold and its tougher to regain confidence when your already cold.Pierce has been hot and it worries me that he could cool off.Garnett has been the most consistant Player on thier team this entire post-season. Also keep in mind how good of a defender James Posey is who also has an NBA Championship.He'll be guarding Kobe most of the time when Allen is out.Kobe forces players into foul trouble so Allen could be watching quite a bit. In a way i wish i wasnt a Celtics fan right now so i could see how well these teams match up without the aggrivation of routing for a team to win a Championship.
